As you walk down any street in this great country of ours, you will pass by many of us who are struggling with life.
These struggles can be very complex or as easy to resolve with a quick decision.
Nonetheess, when all is said and done, and we are ready to turn in our tapestry of life that we have woven, we will quickly realize that our lives ended up being simply the sum total of all the decisions we have made.
The complication sets in when too many people are allowed to make decisions for us.
How often have you, with 20/20 vision. looked back and realized decisions made either ourselves or by others were just not what should have been?
So, how do we keep our antennas up to keep the margin of error in life as low as possible? Having been a Loss Control professional for many years, the following formula is what I have learned to use:
- Empathy – feel what others are experiencing. This is an incredible life teacher.
- Communication – All too often, nothing is said when it should
be spoken. These are usually feelings. - Act on your gut feeling beliefs – procrastination is a life progress stopper! It causes mediocrity and loss of interest in what our life’s purpose has to offer.
- Look for and see what is yours to have in this life. Always, capture your day. Enjoy it to the fullest.
- Love your world and the people in it.
Most importantly love yourself. Without that, it’s like trying to make water flow up hill.
Refusing to see the beauty inside of you, results in a wasted life. A hollow sound will be heard by others.
See all your colors as you should and others will feel that vibrant presence of confidence too.
